Start: 15:30
End: 17:00

Cynthia will appear at a Joint Fundraising Reception in Tuscon Arizona at the First Christian Church, on the corner of Speedway Street and Euclid Street. This event is planned to benefit both her 2006 Campaign's Debt Retirement efforts and the 2008 ballot access efforts of the Arizona Green Party. The Arizona Party has 5,000 signatures of the 20,449 valid they need to secure a ballot line for all partisan races in 2008. See their website for further details on their ballot access efforts, including information about how you can help.

And if you haven't already seen it, please plan to join Tuscon area Greens and others Tuesday night for a showing of American Blackout, which uses Cynthia's experience to tell the story of Black disfranchisement in the 2000 and 2004 Presidential elections. The film should make a great prelude to meeting Cynthia the next day. This film will be shown at the University of Arizona's Student Union, in the Tuscon Room, starting at 7:00 pm. Contributions accepted to cover room rental. Copies of the American Blackout DVD will be available for sale at the afternoon reception the following day, with proceeds to benefit Ms. McKinney's debt retirement efforts.
